Charniele Herring For Delegate
Dear Friend:
Welcome to my website.
As you may know, in January 2009, I won a special election which gave me the privilege to represent the 46th District in the Virginia House of Delegates.
I am already working hard to represent my District, and to take important steps to serve the needs of Virginians everywhere. During the 2009 General Assembly session, I led efforts to enact a bill that would level the playing field for small businesses to compete for state procurement contracts. Working for the environment has also been an important focus. I was recognized for my efforts so far by being named Legislative Leader by the Virginia League of Conservation Voters. As you will see from my biography I have a long history of working to promote the interests of businesses and families. So, it has been a fast start – and I look forward to continuing my work for you.
Since the 2009 General Assembly ended, I have been continuing my work for the individual and organizational needs of our District. I have met with many civic associations, organizations, and individuals in our District to report on our progress in Richmond. During my meetings, I have heard your concerns and ideas to improve our quality of life. I want to hear more about the issues that concern you. Please let me know your thoughts.
With your help, I will return to Virginia General Assembly to continue our work and plant the seeds for a brighter future for Virginia. I look forward to working with you in the coming months. In the meantime, I hope to see many of you on the campaign trail – and I hope you’ll keep up with campaign news here on my website.
Yours in service,
